It’s also worth pointing out that regular device backups are essential, especially with iTunes and iCloud making that task so simple, giving no iPhone user any excuse for not having a backup to draw from. However, if disaster should strike, Primo would be my first port of call if only to see first hand this simple to use recovery software in action. In conclusion, Primo iPhone Data Recovery does exactly what it says on the tin as far as backing up data is concerned and, not having a broken iPhone to hand, I wasn’t able to test the iPhone repair function. ![]() …which I then followed by clicking on the repair icon to the left. Once the ‘recovery’ is complete, a friendly greeting informs you that the process has been completed successfully… Primo backs up quickly, allows you to choose the export location and a quick browse through the resulting folder confirms that it’s up to date and all those precious photos and Whatsapp messages are squirreled away in their respective folders. The first thing that strikes you is the clean interface which gives an immediate impression of simplicity, with a menu on the left hand side where you can choose to recover from iTunes, iCloud or a local back up. This new program claims to bring back data ‘ with nothing omitted‘ and whilst my iPhone 6S is functioning perfectly normally, I decided to give Primo a test drive short of actually performing an iPhone repair. There may come a time when your iPhone becomes non-responsive, you get stuck with a black screen and a ghostly Apple logo stares back at you, so who are you going to call? Or, better still, how are you going to fix your phone and put yourself back on the road to happiness? There’s a myriad of iPhone recovery programs available and whilst I’m no expert at recovering a broken iPhone, I recently came across Primo iPhone Data Recovery, which was launched in February of this year.
